ART MASTERS’ CERTFICATES COURSE .
(1) Admission to the Course. –
(i) Teachers who have passed the A.T.D. Examination will be admitted to this course in June every year.
(ii) This course will be conducted by competent art Institution recognized specifically for this purpose by the Directorate of Art, Maharashra State.
(iii) The students undergoing in this course will have to conduct at least 20practical lesion in art under the guidance and supervision of a trained graduate teacher (preferably the Head Master)during the period when they will be working in their school. Instructions in this respect will be given to the trainee in the course.
(iv) Candidates must have attended and completed the required number of assignments both in class-work as also prescribed number of practice practice for being eligible for admission to the public examination heldat the end of the couse.
1. Drawing and Painting –
(1) Head study
(2) Time drawing and gesture drawings
(3) Still Life.
(4) Memory Drawing.
Design I and II----
Composition (1/2 Imp.)
Theory of Art Education ---
Education and Psychology, Sensation and perception, aims and objects of art education at all levels. Lesson planning and teaching methods.
History of Art and Art Appreciation---Indus Valley, Pre-historic and Ancient Western Art.
